Blind Ant Games
Blind Ant Games is where my games live. I make them by talking to an AI game-making agent, and they're built to be played by ear and with a screen reader first.
Glide Walk: Liverpool
Game, 2026. Made with Savi on Spawn. Keyboard, screen reader and touchscreen.
A simulation of exploring the city with an imaginary version of Glide, the primary mobility device I'm waiting for.

Glide Walk: Liverpool on Spawn
The walk
Start outside James Street station and choose where to go. Walk to Liverpool Central, pop into the Ship & Mitre for a drink, take the lift up to Apple, collect an order at Bravissimo, stop for a coffee on Bold Street, visit the Philharmonic Hall, or head down to the Pier Head and wait for the ferry with the river, gulls and engines around you.
You provide the forward movement; Glide steers. Choose your way at junctions, listen to your chatty mobility instructor, or switch to solo mode and see what you remember. Virtual smart glasses can describe what's ahead. There are footsteps, traffic, crossing signals, street sounds, and places to sit for a minute. Double time speeds up your walking.
How it was made
I'm blind, and I built this by talking to Savi, Spawn's AI game-making agent. It works with keyboard and screen-reader controls and has been tested with NVDA and on iPhone. On a touchscreen, tap Start walking or Stop walking. Sighted players are welcome too.
Why Glide
The real Glide is being developed by Glidance. I've been waiting since 2024, and in October 2026 an email told me to expect Glide in summer 2027. While I wait, I've made somewhere to try the idea.
What this is, and isn't
- It's my own imagined mock-up, not affiliated with or endorsed by Glidance, and it doesn't show what the real device can do.
- At road crossings, the game waits for a green pedestrian signal and takes you across automatically. That's a game convenience, not how the real Glide is expected to work.
- The streets draw on OpenStreetMap, but access details are approximate and crossing timings are simulated.
- The places are real; the interiors, people and conversations are imagined.
- The ferry visit ends at the waiting area. There's no sailing yet.
- It's a simulator, not a real-world navigation aid.
Somewhere to wander through sound, words, memory, and imagination.
And yes, I'm wearing my virtual heels.
