The Remaking of the Merrow Trust
Objects
- The Remaking of the Merrow Trust: A retired systems analyst, blind for forty years, spends a day at her kitchen table directing a swarm of AI agents to remake a small charity's website, and holds the one thing the swarm can't multiply.
- "11:48": Ruth at her kitchen table, her back to the swarm's screen, asking the only question that matters.
Behind the fiction
The Remaking of the Merrow Trust is design fiction written by Charlotte Joanne. Ruth Ashworth, the Merrow Trust and its swarm are invented. Michael Jackson is real: his Jackson Structured Programming taught that the structure of a program follows the structure of its data, and Ruth carries that idea into the age of agents.
