Exact counts

A day is always a day and a week is always 7 days, so these never change meaning.

Calendar counts

Months run from 28 to 31 days and years from 365 to 366, so these follow the real calendar.

How it counts

Everything happens in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere or saved.
“Today” comes from your device's clock and time zone.
Days are counted as whole calendar dates, midnight to midnight, so a daylight-saving change never adds or loses a day.
Leap years follow the Gregorian rules: every 4 years, except centuries, except every 400 years. So 2000 was a leap year and 2100 won't be.
Any year from 1000 to 9999 works.
