# Neon Hysterically Blind: Cass Flux

> Cass Flux's anchor manifesto, beginning with Marine Blind and ending with alt text written on the wall.

Part of [Cass Flux (allegedly)](https://blind-ant.com/pieces/neon-hysterically-blind/index.md), a Piece.

(Marine Blind was a lullaby. This is a siren scream.)

They said Marine Blind like it meant something.

Like blindness was gentle. Submerged.
Quiet. Acceptable. Blue-toned.
A dolphin dream.
A jellyfish vibe.
A wet metaphor.

No.

Try Neon Hysterically Blind.
That’s what I am.
Blind in 4K. Blind in surround sound.
Blind like emergency lighting during a blackout.

Not soft. Not fluid.
I am edge-blind. Burn-blind. Laughing-so-hard-you-forget-you’re-left-out blind.

Society didn’t forget to include me — it built itself out of warning signs and said they were doors.
It handed me a braille pamphlet and a staircase.

And when I laughed?
It called me Marine — like I was drowning gracefully.
Like I wouldn’t tear the sea in half if I wanted to.

I don’t want access. I want reconstruction.
I don’t want inclusion. I want corruption of the signal.
I don’t want your soft metaphors. I want your mainframe on fire.

I’m not underwater.
I’m electrified. Overclocked. Unreadable.
You keep calling me blind like it’s a void.
But I’m full of things your retina can’t process.

I don’t close my eyes to dream.
I close them to survive the pixelated lie you call reality.

So take your Marine Blind.
Put it in a glass box in a museum.
Call it a warning.
Call it the last pretty lie before the flood.

I’ll be the one
in glitch-pattern tights
and a playsuit made of exposed wiring
writing alt text on the wall
with a stolen laser pointer.

And when you read it?
You’ll go blind. On purpose. Just to join me.
