# The ZIC field certification mark

> Accessibility International's field certification mark, attached to a real web standard: state, signal and meaning must reach every observer.

Part of [From Retrofit to Sovereignty](https://blind-ant.com/pieces/from-retrofit-to-sovereignty/index.md), a Piece.

Badge, 2026. Drawn in code by Claude, from Charlotte Joanne's description.

A neon magenta octagonal badge glowing on black, reading “Zero Information Casualties.” At the centre, a large zero surrounds the words “State, Signal, Meaning.” Side panels read “Semantic access guaranteed” and “Meaning delivered to all.” The lower text reads “No single-sense failure,” and a small line beneath it, “AcsInt · Field certification.” The design resembles a futuristic compliance seal or forensic systems badge.

A field certification mark from Accessibility International: design fiction as institutional theatre, attached to a real web standard whose purpose is simple — state, signal, and meaning must reach every observer.
