Every line, with times

At Line
0:00 Blind Trader. A space trading game, built so you can play it without seeing the screen.
0:06 Docked at Lave station. Every screen is real text that a screen reader speaks, and every button has a single-letter key.
0:15 LYRA: Clunk loads twenty tonnes of food.
0:18 She presses T, and asks her ship’s computer a question in her own words.
0:23 LYRA: I’d suggest Meridian. It’s an industrial world, 3.8 light years away and within range, and the chart notes it should pay well for food.
0:31 LYRA: That’s a trade estimate, not a known price. We won’t know the actual offer until we dock.
0:39 C opens the chart. Meridian, 3.8 light years. J to launch.
0:45 Pip, the flight drone, backs the ship out of the station’s glowing slot.
0:51 Hyperspace. Streaks of blue-white light rush past the hull.
0:58 Meridian ahead. A slow-turning station against a blue planet.
1:05 Docking, to a waltz.
1:12 LYRA: Docked at Meridian, Captain. Sell when you like. I only advise.
1:17 LYRA: We made 44 credits on the cargo. Minus 5 in docking fees.
1:25 Blind Trader. Ask Lyra anything. Free to play now, on Spawn.

What you see

The left of the screen is the game itself: a cream panel of text and buttons, the station's market, Lyra's question box, and the captain's progress. The right is the ship's view: Second Sight, a grey wedge-shaped ship, against a blue planet; a faceted space station with a glowing slot; streaks of blue-white light in hyperspace; Meridian station turning slowly ahead. The title, Blind Trader, opens and closes it in large cream capitals, with "Ask Lyra anything" beneath at the end.
